Day-by-day breakdown

Day 1

Bogotá to La Macarena

Morning charter flight, safety briefing with park officials, and sunset walk along the Guayabero River before a cultural music show.

Day 2

First Encounter

Boat and 4x4 ride to the trailhead, hike to waterfalls such as Los Ochos, swim in natural jacuzzis, and enjoy a picnic lunch prepared by local chefs.

Day 3

Alternate Routes

Depending on park assignments visit Pailones, Piscina del Turista, or Mirador Cristalitos to photograph the color spectrum. Afternoon visit to a peace-tourism farm for cacao tasting.

Day 4

Community Morning & Return

Shop for handicrafts, share breakfast with your host family, and fly back to Bogotá with a farewell toast at the airstrip.
