Perfect for families or travelers who want a slower pace, this tour showcases the sustainable practices of Colombia's first plastic-free town.
You will spend time with Tikuna, Cocama, and Yagua hosts while exploring nearby islands and trails.
Day 1
Depart Leticia mid-morning, spot wildlife along the river, and check into your eco-lodge. Take a guided village tour covering the recycling center, community museum, and the Mirador for golden-hour views.
Day 2
After breakfast we walk to the Wochine reserve to explore local flora and fauna before returning to the village for lunch. In the afternoon a private boat takes us to nearby lakes to watch pink and grey dolphins, swim, or go piranha fishing before dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3
After breakfast we cruise down the Amazon River to the Peruvian villages of Isla Cacao and San Antonio. Stroll through the forest searching for three-toed sloths and colorful birds while learning about local traditions. Return to Puerto Nariño for lunch and a free afternoon to explore town.
