Accommodation: Either in rooms with double beds (couples) or a room with multiple beds (groups).

Day 2 Wochine & Tarapoto Lake

We will have breakfast at the hotel and then take a morning walk to the Wochine reserve. We will have time to explore the fauna and flora before heading back to the village for lunch. Afterwards, there is the option to visit the Natatuma Foundation where animal statues are presented and take a private boat to the Tarapoto Lake to spot pink and grey dolphins, swim or go Piranha fishing. We will end the day with dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 Marasha

After breakfast we take the boat to the village Mocagua. Mocagua is a Tikuna community that is dedicated to the conservation of the ecosystem. We continue our journey to the monkey rehabilitation centre Maikuchiga, where illegally captured as well as injured/sick monkeys are rehabilitated to return to the jungle as free beings before having lunch at the Calanoa Lodge. In the afternoon we will go on an ecological walk through the Nature Reserve and on a boat ride along the Mata Mata River. We will learn about the flora and fauna of the area and will try to spot many different animals. Dinner is followed by a night walk to experience the jungle in a very different way and spot nocturnal animals.
